About the Artist
I’m Presa Hall, a self-taught muralist and multidisciplinary artist currently based in Los Angeles. My artistic journey began in Utah, where I started painting at the age of two and selling portraits as a child. In my teens, I began expanding the scale and emotional depth of my work, which eventually led me to mural painting in my early twenties. Since then, I’ve committed my career to creating art in public spaces that tells stories and connects people.
My passion for storytelling through art has taken me from the streets of New York—where I held two solo shows—to Miami, where my work was featured during Art Basel Wynwood and recognized by the Miami New Times and Miami Herald.
Over the past two decades, I’ve created large-scale murals and fine art pieces for public spaces, churches, private collectors, and major brands nationwide. My work blends bold color, feminine symbolism, and natural elements to celebrate identity, transformation, and emotional depth.
Though I’m also a singer-songwriter, music plays more of a supporting role in my creative process—often informing the rhythm, emotional tone, and flow of my compositions. My latest body of work, the Feminine Divinity series, explores myth, memory, and the power of womanhood through both mural and canvas.
No matter the medium, my goal is the same: to create work that resonates with its surroundings, builds connection, and leaves a lasting imprint on the communities and individuals it touches.
Artist Statement:
My art is a celebration of feminine strength, symbolic storytelling, and the unseen forces that shape our lives. I’m drawn to the emotional power of transformation—how light shifts, how tides turn, how we evolve. Whether I’m painting a goddess rising from the ocean or layering color across a community wall, I want the work to feel alive, intentional, and resonant with its surroundings.
Much of my inspiration comes from mythology, nature, and personal experience. I use bold color, fluid movement, and symbolic detail to create pieces that invite reflection, empowerment, and connection. My goal is always to honor the deeper stories—those that belong to us collectively, and those that feel quietly personal.
While visual art is my primary medium, my background as a musician often informs the rhythm and emotional tone of my work. In recent years, I’ve been exploring how music and visual art can merge—sometimes through installations, other times through the energy that flows into each brushstroke.
At its core, my practice is about connection—between people and place, past and present, seen and unseen. I create with the hope that my work offers others a sense of belonging, beauty, and a moment of stillness in a world that moves fast.
